Kudos to the owner for not putting up her rent further… but that comes either from having a very small or nonexistent mortgage! For such a central location as well with the Elizabeth Line station down the road! I think what people need to factor in.. is that in other areas of the capital, Manangement Companies are charging between £1800 to possible nearly £4000 in service charges per year to Flat Owners/Landlords… on top of the fact that interest rates have gone up…. They can’t afford to only charge lower rents… there are also reduced tax incentives too if your a proper Landlord with multiple properties - for some it is not a business - life circumstances have changed and they wanted to retain their property. The cost of doing so is becoming unsustainable hence the reason for the drop in rental properties - people are selling up - which means renters are left with less choice
